Grace narrowed her eyes. Some Death Eaters just didn't respect the Dark Lord like she did. She didn't like that in a follower, someone should be dedicated enough to show respect no matter how much it hurt their pride. She wondered if the Dark Lord would do anything about it. They didn't seem to fear him enough. She frowned. That meant defiance a lot of the time.

Voldemort shrugged elegantly. "Weiss has other talents, she's been killing off members of the ministry on my orders for years. I'll spare her only because her loyalty has been unwavering, Besides, it's better that she killed the brat than let her live. I can't stand it when my followers only toy with victims and then let them live. The order can't out her, she's not only part of the ministry, they are an organization in hiding, at best they can tell the prophet or dumbledore can tell his students, spreading innuendo and gossip doesn't make him credible." said Lord Voldemort as he turned away from Charles to look at his newer deatheater Logan.

Logan tried not to show the fear he was feeling when the Dark Lord looked at him. He cursed himself for not killing those two kids that was with the dead girl.

Charles shrugged. He hated Weiss almost as much as he'd hated Craven, but he decided it would be wise not to question the Dark Lord decision on this matter. Still, he felt that Greta's days at the Ministry were numbered, if for no other reason than because Craven's death would put her out of a job. Whoever replaced Craven would certainly not want the old minister's assistant hanging around.

Voldemort smiled, a gleeful smile that wiser men would fear. "Consider yourself warned Van Helsing." he then walked toward the entrance of his new parlor and said "Now I don't believe you all to be ignorant So tell me, Who amongst you knows what this is?" He asked as he threw a gold chain with a heavy looking pendant, he cast a spell on it and then it stopped mid flight and magnified itself. A heavy and clumsy symbol of Slytherin on it's face.

Grace looked up at the object he was showing the group, and frowned. Surely not... It couldn't be... She blinked a couple of times. Of course, the Dark Lord would be able to get his hands on that. It was probably family to him. "Forgive me if I am wrong, my Lord," she said, stepping forwards once more. "I believe that is... Slytherin's Locket? Is it not passed down through generation to generation to all Heirs of Slytherin?" Grace admitted to herself that she was shocked she was in the same room as something so precious as the Slytherin Locket.

Voldemort sneered "Yes this forgery is supposed to be Slytherin's locket! As I wouldn't know my own ansetors heirlooms! No the real one was stole from me, I need that locket back. Call it a sentimental vaulable...Charles, find out what you can about one in that blasted Order of Dumbledore's. Grace, Find anyone in connection with Charles and put them under your thrall, I need it back. Quicklly. Bella, You know what you have to do, Make sure you do it soon, as that ridiculous camp of the Order will open soon as well." he said pointing in turn to each of the metioned deatheaters.

Claudia could barely contain her jealousy as the Dark Lord gave assignments to the two other women in the room. She wanted to be the Dark Lord's favorite, and the idea that these new people should be trusted with such obviously important tasks while she was mucking around in cemetaries digging up corpses was an insult to her. She wanted to kill, not take those already dead.

Grace nodded as the Dark Lord pointed to her, and then looked to the man he'd pointed at first. "Yes, my Lord," she responded quickly, bowing her head to him and stepped backwards into the shadows. It was good she'd done her research before joining the Death Eaters. Things like this meant she got the good tasks to do. All she had to do now was find out exactly who this Charles bloke was, and get information from him for people to go for.

"good, Claudia. Come with me, As for the rest of you, Keep you're eyes and ears open, find and talk with as many as you can, If you find a suitable deatheater to be, bring them in...Also, I have a gift for all of you, So if you would, all in a row and one by one, My Claudia first of course." he said smiling like a viper. Oh yes, they would all be his...Proven and Marked as such.

Claudia stood up, feeling soothed by the fact that the Dark Lord was taking her with him, and that he wanted her to receive this "gift" first. "Yes, my lord," she purred, moving over to bow before him.

Charles showed no outward reaction to the orders he was given. Keeping his mind closed, he looked past the Dark Lord to the shadowy figure called Grace. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to work with this woman, but he would do his best.

Bellatrix nodded as the Dark Wizard addressed her and with a slight bow she said, "yes, my Lord." Her dark curls fell around her face as she bent forward, but through them she could see the others in the room beginning to move about. She righted herself and her eyes instantly turned to the blonde woman. She looked annoyed briefly, which made Bella smile.
As He mentioned the 'gift' Bellatrix looked nervously to Lucius. She knew he probably would know as much as she did regarding this 'gift' but he was the one who brought her here and his presence made her feel more secure. She did as her master commanded and moved into the line that was beginning to form.

Voldemort smiled and he stroked her left arm. "I'm sure you'll preciate the beauty of this gift." pushing her sleeve up he traced an image in her flesh murmuring a spell as he did so, expecting her to scream in pain in moments.

Claudia smiled almost triumphantly as the Dark Lord traced his image on her skin. Slowly she could see a shape begin to form on her arm, then it began to glow. As the glowing light grew brighter, a fierce, burning pain shot up from her arm. "Aaaaahhhh," she gasped. And then she screamed it. She felt to her knees, staring at the bright red light on her arm and screaming. Then, slowly, the pain abated. She took deep breath and got to her feet. "Th-thank you, my Lord," she said. "You honor me with your mark."

Voldemort could of laughed with glee at hearing the scream of pain, instead he lifted her chin and said " You're welcome My pretty girl." and he had the manical urge to say Next, but instead he gestured to the next deatheater in line.

Charles widened his eyes as Claudia screamed out in pain. he had been standing just behind her in line, and he had no choice but to go next. Somehow he knew that if he did this, there would be no going back. He would be marked for life as Lord Voldemort's servant. He wasn't sure if this was what he wanted, but he also knew he had no choice. He couldn't back out now, or he'd never leave the building alive. He'd most likely wind up as part of the Dark Lord's pet project with Craven and the other corpses Claudia had been gathering. No, he'd got himself into this situation, and he had no choice but to go through with it. He stepped forward and attempted to look as unemotional and cold as possible while he waited to receive the mark.

Voldemort took the arm of his next follower, Charles stood stotic and Voldemort removed his duster and did the same as he did to Claudia. He was a dark follower, one that he could trust not to trust, not like he did with any of his other followers.

Tristan was next. He kept himself as calm as possible as he waited for the Dark Lord to put his mark on him. He was a bit nervous, but he also felt proud. There was no turning back from this, and the thought excited him. He hoped that soon he would be able to prove himself worthy. Quietly he rolled up his sleeve and waited.

Voldemort murmurred the spell into Charles flesh and his flesh burned into his mark, the mark of death and viper of the mortal coils. A mark not just for the vain like Claudia, but for the strong.
