Status Report

[Charles Mortensen]

Charles watched with interest. Lately he had been finding the Death Eater meetings to be completely dull and tedious, but watching Claudia suffer was something he couldn't help but enjoy.

[Logan VanHelsing]

Logan watched the scene slightly interested. He wondered if there was going to be some real excitement soon. He smirked slightly when the woman was cornered by the vampire. He didn't like women who think too highly of themselves.

[Alastor Domino]

"We've got an audience now, Claudia." Jake teased her. "Not too sure of yourself now are you?"

[Tristan Collins]

Tristan watched all of this with interest, then suddenly, he stood up. "All right, why don't you back off?" he said to the vampire. "Aren't we all supposed to be here for the same reason? We serve the Dark Lord, right? If we start fighting each other, we're just distracting ourselves from our real goal, right? If we're always at each others' throats, it'll be easier to tear us apart, don't you think?"

[Alastor Domino]

"Why don't you back off?" Jake hissed turning to Tristan showing his fangs very clearly. "I'm just finishing what I start, which Claudia here obviously doesn't."

[Logan VanHelsing]

Logan shook his head smirking he was finally entertained. He knew not to mess with a vampire, this guy obviously didn't. He watched waiting to see if there was going to be a fight. To him a fight would be something to see.

[Claudia Morley]

"Excuse me?" Claudia snapped. "I started this? And just how did I do that? As I recall, I was in the middle of a conversation with the Dark Lord, when the two of you decided to butt in. Clearly, neither of you has learned not to speak out of turn. And if you think that just because I'm the only woman here, you can intimidate me, you're wrong. I'm not afraid of you. I'm repulsed by you." She glanced at Tristan coldly. "And as for you, I don't need you to rescue me. I'm perfectly capable of defending myself. Now, if you two don't mind, I think the Dark Lord was speaking to me. When or if he wishes to hear from you, I am certain he will tell you."

[Alastor Domino]

"I was just putting in my input when you insulted me." Jake said innocently. "Maybe you should have less of an ego and actually take what the Dark Lord says and use it."

[Logan VanHelsing]

"I swear you people remind me of little kids." Logan finially said still smirking. He didn't move from his spot in the corner as he spoke. He glanced between the vampire and the woman.

[Alastor Domino]

"Would you like me to do you as well?" Jake hissed at the man who had spoken. It was getting annoying. Maybe he should've just stayed with his own kind, but no he had to find out what the Dark Lord was planning.

[Logan VanHelsing]

"What? I can't say my opinion?" Logan said fingering his dagger in his belt. "I have nothing against you, vampire, or anyone for that matter." He smirked staring at him still without moving from the chair.

[Alastor Domino]

"Then stay out of this." Jake hissed again. He turned back to Claudia. "Now would you like me to finish this? Because I know of a way that will please me greatly."

[Logan VanHelsing]

Logan glared at the vampire; he doesn't like being told what to do by anyone other then the Dark Lord. How dare this creature tell him to stay out of it? How dare he tell him what to do? Logan continued to glare at the vampire as he fingered his dagger.

[Claudia Morley]

"I'd like you to finish this by shutting up and waiting for the Dark Lord to tell you what to do. That's what we're all supposed to do," she said. "You never were very good at that, were you? And as for insulting you, hello? I'm evil! What was I supposed to do, curtsy and say 'oh thank you for your help, Mr. Vampire, sir'? Please. Just because you're a vampire doesn't mean you get to be in control. I could stake you, you know."

[Alastor Domino]

"And I could bite you right now." Jake said getting ready to strike. "You know you can't do it alone. So why not just take my help?"

[Claudia Morley]

"I will accept your help if, and only if the Dark Lord himself tells me to!" Claudia said loudly, backing away from him. She turned to Voldemort, who was still stood in the shadows, watching and listening. "This task was assigned to me, and can only be shared if it pleases him." She looked back at Jake. "You forget your place."

[Alastor Domino]

"Maybe we shouldn't work together if you keep causing this much tension." Jake said. He walked back to where he was standing before in the shadows.

[Lord Voldemort]

Voldemort laughed and had his wand against Jake's neck and said silently "Jake, heel." his smile looking amused. " You are all acting insolent. All of you will sit and listen now." he said accio'ing a fairly rotted corpse of a young man from his chambers, "As you can see, I also have no trouble finding bodies, living or otherwise. As for your education Jake, the bodies you could provide would be tainted and already half of the undead." said Voldemort letting out a dangerous hiss of truly evil spell work. The room faded to a cold that burned, and the body moved in a jerky response to the dark purple surge of power.

[Claudia Morley]

Claudia winced in horror as the corpse rose up and began moving slowly across the room. Yet inwardly, she felt a silent triumph that the Dark Lord had shut down Jake's offer of assistance. She really didn't want to spend anymore time with the vampire.

[Lord Voldemort]

Voldemort smiled again as his inferus moved around the room.
"you'll all find this entertaining, and I'll provide this as an education." he said and rings of flames surrounded his creation and it let out a rotted wail of despair. A soul wrapped in darkness fears light, it was a horrible sound that made him smile.
"You see, if you don't silence them, they have the tendency to sing." he said morbidly silencing his inferus.
