He’s also got a bit of scruff on his face that makes him look a little older.

Personality:
Colton lives for his music. When he and his sister were stuck living on the streets, he used to play his guitar just to keep them entertained. He could spend his whole day playing guitar and never get bored. He doesn’t even mind that he doesn’t make enough to afford much of anything because he gets to do what he loves.
His sister, Harper, is his inspiration. He played for her when she wanted something to dance to and he played on the streets for money so they would have food. He loves his sister more than anything and would do anything to protect her. Throughout his life, she’s the only constant he’s ever had.
He’s generally pretty quiet unless he’s performing. He doesn’t like to be the center of attention and prefers to fade into the background when he can. He’s the opposite of Harper in that sense as she’s always the life of the party. He’s also not very trusting and it took him a while to find friends at school. He has a few that he’s close to and the ones he made he would be loyal to them until the end.

History:
Colton and Harper grew up in a very happy, well to-do family that much of society respected. His mother was a healer specializing with children, and his father had business selling wand cores to wandmakers all over the world. What society (and their children) didn’t know is that both mister and misses Lahey were deep into the dark arts as well.
Colton was young, only 12 when two men their family knew and trusted came into their home one winter evening and killed their mother and father during dinner, leaving the children unharmed. Colton went back to school, and Harper spent 6 months living with a foster parent until she was old enough to join her brother at school. The summers after the incident however, the two were forced to live on the streets of muggle London. Often, they lived in an alley behind a dance studio, and Harper would watch from the back window during the ballet and tap lessons, teaching herself as he teachers taught their paying students. Colton would play his guitar for her while she danced. It was one of the few things he had with him from his old life.
He was sorted into Gryffindor and although he made some close friends in the house, he never felt like he fit in. He had issues trusting people after he lost his parents and if he hadn’t already known his bunkmates two years prior, he probably would have never made any friends. If it weren’t for them he would be a lot less confident than he grew to be. He would do anything for them and looked at them like brothers.
Anything else? Hope you like it Gage.
