- Brief Description: Leyla has reddish brown hair that sparks in the sun. Her eyes are a vibrant green and her lips are full and pink. She has a slim figure but not very muscular. She doesn't get out too much and is far too clumsy for sports.

- Hair (color, length, style): She has brilliant, long, wavy red hair. It has darkened over the years but when the right light catches it, it's a vibrant red that stands out in a crowd.

Quirks/Habits:
- She tends to daydream to the point where she could tune out an entire conversation. She doesn't even realize she's doing it. She could be in the middle of a sentence and lose her train of thought because she starts thinking about something else. A muggle would probably call her ADD or something because of how short her attention span can be.
- She's that kid you see in class getting into trouble for reading her book during a lecture. When she finds a new book, she has trouble putting it down. She would ignore her friends for days or weeks if she finds a book worth reading. She spends a lot of time in the library just browsing for her next choices. She doesn't read her books fast either, like most people who read that much. She takes it slow and enjoys every word.
- While she's concentrating on something important, she chews on things; her lips, her hair, and her finger nails. She'll also chew on objects like her quills. She knows it's a bad habit and is embaressed when people comment on it but she does it without thinking and doesn't realize she had done it until much later when her nails are a mess and the end of her quill is missing.

Personality : Leyla is an odd child who should be a loner with her habits. But she loves people. She would talk to anybody and try to make friends with them. She's been known to walk up to Slytherins(you know, the really nasty ones) and strike up a conversation. Even if they're not interested, it doesn't matter because she'll do all the talking. Once she knows someone for a while, she'll calm down around them a bit. But when she's meeting someone new...well, it's a shock that she hasn't scared more people away.
She doesn't understand muggles and how they can live without magic. But she is facinated by them all the same. She's the complete opposite of her older brother who would rather muggles didn't exist. She spends her days reading and studying and her nights are saved to socialize with friends. She sits with different people at the Ravenclaw table almost every day and knows almost everyone in her house because of her outgoing nature.

Leyla grew up not knowing her father. He was a death eater and sent to azkaban when she was very young. Her mother was distraught and hardly even spoke to her children after the loss of her husband. It was because of this that Leyla started reading. Her mum wasn't teaching her anything she needed to know and she had to read to teach herself. Her brother became gloomy and started keeping to himself so she never had much social interaction as a child. She was bursting with information and just wanted to talk to her family, but they ignored her. When she went to Hogwarts, she began making friends fast because she was so excited to have someone to talk to. Her brother became closer to her then but he still wasn't talking much. Mostly he would just sit and listen to her talk. He also grew very protective of her and would hex any one who said anything cruel to her. She didn't see it as wrong, she saw herself as lucky to have such a wonderful older brother.
RP Sample :
It was a beautiful, sunny day at Hogwarts, and classes were in session. So of course, Sirius Black was sitting by the lake, whistling to himself and skipping stones along the surface of the water. He was cutting class, which was no surprise, but he was also alone, and that was unusual. For once, he did not have his ever-present companions, James, Remus, and Peter by his side. But even alone, no one would think he was anything but confident and comfortable with himself.
He tossed another thin, flat rock, and watched as it skimmed the surface, bouncing once, twice, three times, before the Giant Squid, seemingly annoyed by the disturbance, reached out one long tentacle and pulled the stone into the water.
Sirius laughed to himself, then leaned back against the tree, allowing the warmth of the sun to relax him. He slowly began to drift, and had nearly dozed off when he heard a voice above him.
Leyla had been walking outside during a free period of hers. She had given up on divination this year and had an extra slot in her schedule to relax and study. She spent most of these bits of her day outside, enjoying the fresh air. Normally she was alone while most of the school was in class. She walked down towards the lake, planning on getting a head start on the potions assignment Professor Slughorn had given that morning. She was dreadful in potions and knew she would need the extra time to study. She had no idea what parts of a dragon were used let alone their uses. She gave a sigh and walked towards her favorite tree; it had the best shade.
As she approached, she heard whistling and grew curious. By the water's edge stood a second year who was currently skipping rocks across the lake. Leyla watched in amazement as they skipped several times in a row. She was instantly jealous. Anytime she had tried to skip rocks, she could only get one out of it. As she walked closer, she watched him sit down. She contemplated not interupting him, as he seemed content on his own, but she had to know....
"How do you do that??" She demanded, probably startling him with her sudden words. "I've been trying for years and I've never been able to manage....That was amazing! You really must show me the trick. Could you teach me? It would mean the world to me!" She rambled on and on as she plopped down beside him, removing her bag from her shoulder. She was beg all day if she had to. She had to know his secret.
