Brian looked down as he thought back...it was so long ago "My Name wasn't Brian, I was born when living in a village was becoming natural for humans." This was far more difficult than he thought, It was strange how much once decides not to remember.
"Wizards were still haphazard and living among hu..muggles...I don't quiet recall when they pulled away completely, they did it very well in fact!" He looked up from his feet that were walking the pavement and looked at Quinn's lovely face "I have seen more than the rise of kings...I saw the rise of humanity." He looked sobered by that thought and a little ill. Why hadn't he realized he had been alive so long? Oh yes, He had been in love with a woman that was already mad with years and a penchant for living her un-dead life to the fullest. He remembered Mandy once stripping her self of a frock in the middle of a private party in a woman's salon to play her harpsichord with as much fury as a man.
"It was only a few decades after my Maker took me from mortal life that 'the black death' took it's hold over 'the whole world' It was a time of much feasting. We do that from time to time, during great famines and plague... I felt merciful for much of that time...It made the years go by quicker." He shook his head "I wasn't really aware of how much of it was important...I wasn't looking for the historical importance then. I remember thinking humans and their politics were so dull, but the parties..." He grinned and looked back toward the path they were walking "The parties my dear were so grand! Kings and lords and later viscounts and fops, fine ladies with wigs or coiled ringlets." He sighed. Parties now weren't so grand, at least one couldn't make or break political ties in a party unless you went to the right one, and security was a drag!
"It's harder to move through this era, people have an obsession with 'safety'" he sneered at the last word like it offended him personally.
