Appearance:
- Brief Description: Cameron Nicholas Yates could be described as your typical geeky looking teenager. He has a bit too much acne on his face, covered by a full side fringe - not to mention his lankiness or his gangly limbs.
He has large hands, only contrasting to his thin and almost wiry forearms upper arms, hardly carrying any muscle on him at all. Cameron doesn't like the idea of working out as he is not too fond of getting sweaty or having chest cramps from copious amounts of exercise. His torso makes him look thin and lanky, and he has a small amount of chest hair starting to grow. His legs are a bit like his arms - lanky and wiry, making him look almost anorexic and unable to support himself as he balances on two feet. His shoe size is rather large for someone with such a body like his.
Cameron stands quite proud, preferring not to be cast back into the shadow. Some people may call his walking a bit of a strut, but in Cameron's eyes, he's just walking with a purpose. When standing still, Cameron tends to stand firmly on his two feet, rather than slouching to one side or letting the weight of his school satchel get to him. - Eye Color: Bright blue.
- Hair (color, length, style): His hair is a darker shade of brown and a middle length. Cameron rarely brushes it, often leaving it unkempt and messy.
- Skin Tone: Pale.
- Height: 5'11.
- Body Type: Skinny, but athletic.

Personality (At least 4 sentences, but longer is preferred): From a distance, Cameron looks like your typical happy-go-lucky guy who usually has a smile on his face. His presence is warm and inviting, and there aren't many people who feel uncomfortable around him. He stretches out invitations to invite those around him, often making friends quite easily. To describe his outgoing nature in detail, Cameron would be described as an extrovert who loves to have constant company around him. He's fun loving and is always looking for a new adventure to be had.
Although he's outgoing and friendly, Cameron has a bit of a strong opinion when it comes to... well, just about everything. His opinion, in his eyes, is often right, even when others don't agree with him. Occasionally he will push his opinion on others, only for the purpose of getting them to see his point of view, but unfortunately Cameron lacks the ability to see things from other people's perspectives.
Cameron is considered to a bit of a smart aleck with a quick tongue. He always has a comeback for everything; needless to say it isn't exactly a very admirable trait. He has a smart mouth and will always talk back, no matter who the person or their 'status' in life. That being said, the majority of his comebacks tend to have a comical tone to them, as Cameron often likes to crack jokes and make light of any situation. He doesn't take life too seriously and he certainly doesn't take himself very seriously. He knows what he's good at, he knows he wants to be a wizard (perhaps even an Auror one day) and he's very comfortable with that.
As Cameron is an absolute joy to be around (.......most of the time), it's easy to see how loyal he is to his friends. He will stand up for the underdog, and especially if the underdog happens to be one of his friends. Even if his friends are wrong and it's blatantly obvious to all involved, Cameron will stand up for his friends, because he knows they would do the exact same thing for him if he needed it. He would help anyone who asked for it and isn't afraid to ask for help himself.
Family

- Father: Harold Yates.

- Other family members (if significant): --
History (At least 4 sentences): Cameron was born on the 11th of April, 1958; needless to say, his parents were thrilled. They named him Cameron after his great grandfather on his mother's side, who was French, but moved to England for better work opportunities. There's not much to say about Cameron's upbringing; he had a typical muggle childhood, choosing to read books to pass the time.
On his eleventh birthday, Cameron recieved a letter from a school called 'Hogwarts'. Although he had shown no such magical capabilities as a child, Cameron was thrilled. Somewhere, somehow, he had always known that the fantastical things he read in novels were real; and here was this letter, inviting him to be apart of it.
As Cameron arrived at Hogwarts, it was like he truly fit in for the first time in his life. He was welcomed with open arms into the house of Hufflepuff and that was where he had stayed for the previous six years. Sure, he had been prone to prankings and other devious things throughout his years at the school, mainly done from the Slytherin pure-blood extremists, but there was nothing else that really bothered Cameron.

SAMPLE RP POST:
The Hufflepuff common room was always comfortable, with a warm, cozy fire burning, and plenty of soft, comfortable couches on which to lounge. But for Gilderoy Lockhart, there simply were not enough mirrors for his taste. In fact, the general decor of the common room would certainly be greatly improved by the addition of more mirrors, and perhaps a few pictures of himself. After all, he could not always be in the common room, and he would hate to think of the depressing state the room must be in when he was absent from it.
At the moment, he was trying his best to rectify that situation. He'd recently had a few 8" x 10" portraits taken (actually, considerably more than a few), and had taken to signing them with a carefully perfected signature. He tended to attach this portraits to his tests, his essays, and occasionally give them out to pretty girls that he was certain must have a crush on him, the poor things. Now he was hanging a number of them on the walls of the common room at strategic intervals, so that all of his fellow Hufflepuffs might have a glimpse at his award-winning smile where ever they went.
"Yes," he was saying to no one in particular, "I am certain that, one day, my fellow students will be proud to say that they knew me before I was famous. These portraits will be worth a great deal of galleons one day, I daresay..."
He was so busy talking to himself that he was not aware that he was not alone until he heard the person speak.
REPLY:
The Hufflepuff Common Room was finally empty! Peering out from behind the boys dormitory door, Cameron leapt at the opportunity to read in peace. He ran down the stairs and sat himself down on the comfiest chair in the room. He could feel himself relax as his body began to sink into the chair. Mm, this was nice, he thought to himself.
Cameron pulled out his favourite book - Mary Shelley's Frankenstien and unfolded the crease in the page which marked his last place. He could feel that this afternoon was going to go well.
Slowly, Cameron began to forget the outside world and became completely absorbed into his book. It was then he heard someone slide down the chute and land with a THUMP! on the ground. Cameron didn't need look up to see who was the official 'disturber of the peace', he knew who it was already from the slight mumbling he heard about 'not having enough mirrors'.
Gilderoy Lockhart was well known throughout Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; but not for any well means. He was famous for giving his pictures out to teachers and students who - to put it nicely - didn't have any interest in him. Cameron turned around in his chair to face the boy, who was now admiring himself in one of his pictures. "Do you mind?"
