Personality: Nadine is sweet and caring, with a warm and nurturing personality. She has a way of setting everyone at ease. She is never mean or cold, and will always go out of her way to make people feel good about themselves.
She can be a bit emotional at times, but she knows how to keep professional when she is working. Sometimes she saves up her tears and breaks down when she gets home, crying for the suffering of her patients, no matter how small it might be. She loves animals and children and all people, really, and she believes in the goodness of all people. She seldom has a bad word to say about another person, no matter how bad they might be. Yet she is not naive. She sees the bad in people as well, but she takes it as part of the whole, which is, to her, beautiful.
She has a quiet, sometimes cheesy sense of humor, but it's so innocent and cute that people can't help but laugh anyway. She loves entertaining guests, and is happiest when surrounded by people.

History: Nadine was born in Holland, in 1921. She was the only child of two muggle-born wizards. Her father worked for the Dutch branch of Gringott's and her mother was a housewife. Her childhood was happy and relatively peaceful, until her mother died when Nadine was 12. She attended a small private magical academy in nearby Belgium, and it was here that she found her gift was in giving advice, or simply listening to others talk about their problems. She was the girl everyone went to to ask about dating, school, parents, and any other problem that teenagers had, and she always helped them.
After school Nadine decided to leave Holland, which turned out to be a good decision for her. She lived in France for a year, then decided to go to a muggle university in London to study psychiatry. It was around this time that WWII broke out, and had she remained in Holland, she could have fallen victim to the Nazis. But she avoided that, and was able to get her father out of Holland before the German occupation, and he lived with her for a time before he died in 1945, two years before his daughter would achieve her doctorate in psychiatry.
Now armed with her doctorate, Nadine went to St Mungo's and applied to be a staff psychiatrist there. At the time, the profession was somewhat rare among the wizarding world, but she was accepted and quickly became one of the most popular doctors they had.
In 1950, a new patient walked into her office. His name was Joseph Richmond, and he was from Germany. He was personable, but shy at first. But the more she talked with him, the more Nadine came to care for this man. As hard as she tried to stay impartial, Joseph became her favorite patient. She was falling in love with him, but of course, she couldn't do anything about it because he was her patient. But one day, seemingly out of the blue, he told her that he no longer wanted to be her patient. Hurt and confused, Nadine asked him why... and he promptly asked her out on a date.
They dated for two years, then were married on the anniversary of the day he first asked her out. They have two daughters, Lorelei, 20, and Ilsa, 17.
