Character Name: Raina Lorlight
Year: 4th
Preferred House (you may not get it, unless you are a canon character): Hufflepuff
Strengths: She is patient to the extreme, she is awesome with animals, she loves to learn
Weaknesses: She sometimes finds it challenging to connect with people, also she has unmediated ADD, so she can tend to be completely random sometimes.
Personality: Raina is incredibly patient, as well as kind and caring. However she is very self conscious and feels a need to prove herself to her parents and older brother. She enjoys quidditch, although she is rather clumsy and therefor not the best player. However she will cheer on her team like no other. Raina is reserved person, choosing to bottle her emotions in rather than confide in others.
Brief History: Raina is a Hufflepuff born into a family of Ravenclaws. She often is looked down on by her family who fell that she isn't living up to the family name. She was raised in London until she was 12, and for the past two years has been living in her family's new house in the countryside.
Growing up Raina was overshadowed by her "perfect" older brother. He was good at everything, Quidditch, school, even things like cooking, and art. Living in his shadow for so long has made Raina extremely self conscious and also as she strives to be recognized by her parents as something more than a worthless lump, Raina has become extremely stressed.
Since she started school, Raina has chilled out some, especially around friends, however her self consciousness and desire to prove herself are still there.
Description or Celebrity Claim: Hannah Spearritt
RP Sample (must be at least a paragraph): Raina sat by the lake, writing in her journal. The journal she kept was extremely transcendentalist in nature, a recording of what Raina saw and how that represented something else. Today she was sitting alone, her back to her favorite tree, the wind rustling the pages of her notebook. As she fought to keep the pages pressed down so she could write, Raina saw a group of students come out of the castle. She watched as they moved toward the lake, as if pulled through the summer heat by some unknown force. Soon distracted by a fish moving in the water, Raina returned to her writing.
