Personality:
Elodie is a very likeable character and pairing that with her striking looks meant that when she started Hogwarts she attracted a lot of friends.... and other attention. She is very loyal to her friends, particularly when they show their loyalty back. She doesn't relish in the attention she receives, in fact she doesn't notice it, she is very modest about the way she looks and wouldn't describe herself as attractive if she was asked. Her relationship with her Father is very solid, mainly because they are relatively close in age for a Father and Daughter and they have more of a friendship than a parental relationship. Because of this Elodie never really had any problems with discipline and finds it easy usually to motivate herself to work and study. This by all means doesn't mean she is top of the class and she studied harder for her exams at school because of it. She doesn't offend too easily and has a strong sense of humour.
Elodie is very vocal and chatty but is not intimidating with it. She will talk to anyone and this makes her very approachable. She is good at showing how confident she is without being overly so.
Elode has had some hard times in her life and at a young age. She found it hard to initially bond with her Father and her little sister when she was born and she sees now that she was rather lonely in her early childhood. If she was ever upset or angry she kept quite and didn't say anything. She would lock herself away or sulk and her Father never quite knew how to handle it. She tries to avoid confrontation and on the most part succeeds. She grew up much the same and isn't very vocal when she is angry or upset, this often means she gets overlooked when maybe she needs some support or that people sometimes don't realise they offended her.
She adapts very well to different situations as her family moved around a bit when she was younger due to her Father taking jobs when he could get them. This meant though that early on she didn't make any friends, only when she went to Hogwarts did that happen. She never complained though, even when she became attached to a place they moved to. She tries very hard to please everyone and sometimes this inadvertently hurts those involved. However her heart is in the right place and she strongly believes in her friends and family and is immensely proud of their abilities. She is funny but not obviously so, she doesn't have what people would consider a normal sense of humour. She loves to laugh and is often heard in fits of giggles, people know something is not quite OK with Elodie when she hasn't been laughing. She is brave but not fearless, she feels the need to be brave for other people but sometimes her fears overwhelm her. Her biggest fear is failing herself and her family whether that's at school or generally in the future, she doesn't want to let anybody down.
She's sees herself one day having a family and her ultimate career goal is to become a healer. Rose and Jacob met when Jacob was in his fifth year at Hogwarts. Rose was on a camping trip with her family at the same time Jacob was with his. Rose was 16 and greatly experienced compared to Jacob. He was besotted with her but Rose didn't feel the same, however they stayed in touch and a few weeks after the holiday Rose found out she was pregnant. Not knowing what to do she fled the family home and ended up on Jacobs doorstep. His family were shocked to say the least when she broke the news to them and Jacob. They felt Jacob was too young for such a responsibility and thought he had been led astray by Rose. Despite this Jacob's family agreed to have Rose move in with them and to have the baby as long as her own family agreed. Her family were appauled with Rose and felt she had embarrassed the family. In the end the Hunters looked after her as if she were one of there own, realising she had no support from her own family.
Jacob's family also decided that they should inform her of there powers as she would be staying with them. Jacob's Mother was a witch but his father was a muggle, however Jacob and his brother inherited their Mother's magical abilities and they believed it was a strong possibility that Rose and Jacob's child would do the same. Rose was extremely shocked and a little disturbed but slowly got used to the idea, accepting her child would probably be the same.
Elodie was born in late winter and was met with immediate drama. Her muggle Mother decided after just 2 weeks that she couldn't handle motherhood and left the family home, leaving Elodie with her Father. The first years of her life were understandably difficult as she was left with her grandparents during Hogwarts term time. Her Father struggled to bring her up as he only got to spend time with her during the Holidays. When he left Hogwarts he took jobs where he could and eventually moved him and Elodie out of the family home. The jobs he could get often meant they moved around a lot. He found it easier when he was able to take a part time job and he could concentrate on home schooling Elodie. Then he finally found himself bonding with her. When Elodie was 8 Jacob found a permanent job and they found a permanent home. He then met Josephine, they became friends very quickly but their relationship didn't blossom into something more until Elodie went off to Hogwarts. Josephine soon fell pregnant and moved into the family home. They married and Elodie found herself on the sidelines a little when she returned for holidays. Soon enough though she bonded with her sister and became very protective of her. Although she loved Hogwarts she hated leaving Clara behind and although Clara was young Elodie would write to her every week.
She had very little contact with her Mother, one of the only times she did was sending her a letter telling her she had been accepted into Hogwarts. She received a short one back congratulating her.
To start with at Hogwarts Elodie found it very difficult to be away from her Father and Clara. Jacob became extremely concerned about the change in personality in Elodie within her first few months at Hogwarts and almost considered taking her out and continuing home schooling. However with perseverance and persuasion Elodie stayed and started to gain a small group of friends. By her second year she had really grown in confidence and couldn't wait to return to Hogwarts. Since then Elodie has grown in confidence each year and has now started to assert her independence.

Rorey had been lounging around all day yesterday and in turn hadn't really slept that night. She awoke much earlier than she usually would and much earlier than the rest of her peers but she decided to get out of bed anyway, she couldn't spend another day in the common room. The New years eve party hadn't exactly lifted her spirits like she thought it would and she felt like the year hadn't really kicked off yet. She'd set off for a walk along the corridors from the common room without any real thought to her direction, just wanting to stretch her legs. She sighed when she considered going up to the Owlery and sending her Father the letter she'd been holding onto but she still couldn't bring herself to send it. Instead she carried on walking and found herself going down the stairs and reaching the second floor.
Peaking into study hall she seriously considered it, it would take her mind off things after all but she walked away, she'd been lounging around studying yesterday, if she went in there all she'd be doing is changing her location. Walking quickly down the next set of stairs she went past the library and scanned her brain, checking that she didn't need any books. Deciding she didn't she trotted down to the ground floor. There was a bit more of a spring in her step now and she felt a little bit more energetic. She looked over at the gym but decided she didn't feel that energetic and her next thought was the pool. She cursed herself for not bringing her bathing suit and towel but with a smile decided to go in anyway, she didn't think any other students would be in at that time of the morning so she could at least dip her feet in.
She walked through to the pool room and at first thought it was deserted. She walked up to the edge of the pool and then suddenly noticed a boy in mid swim. His head popped out of the water and she smiled when she saw his face. She settled down on the edge of the pool and let her legs fall into the water, enjoying immediately the slightly warm temperature, it soothed her legs and she kicked them softly. She smiled when the boy swam in her direction again and laughed. 'Hey Alex"
