Strengths: Ability to make friends, loyalty to her friends, quick learner, manipulating situations to her advantage
Weaknesses: Doesn’t trust people, judges people very easily, inability to communicate her emotions
Personality: Roma is a very outgoing person and seems to make friends wherever she goes. She is clever and a very fast learner, which allows her to be involved in many things in the school. Although she is well-known, only her closest friends truly know her. After seeing what her father did to her mother when he discovered her secret, Roma has trouble trusting people with her secrets and her true feelings. She prefers to deal with things herself and put on a constant happy front. Although she usually can deal with life this way, it’s wise not to cross Roma on her bad days.
Brief History:Roma was born in Carlisle, England near the Scottish border. Her father was a Scottish Muggle and her mother an English witch. Her mother had hidden her magical nature from her husband until the day that Roma first showed magical traces. Although for most children this would be quite an exciting day, for Roma, that was also the last day that she saw her father. Figuring out that she was a witch came at a costly price, but Roma embraced her new life.
The next few years held many surprises. Her mother reconnected with the magical world and fell back in love with her Hogwarts sweetheart, whose first wife had passed away, and got married the next spring. Roma and her mom moved to Italy to live with her step-father and two step brothers. She loved it there, but it still wasn’t the same as home. So when given the choice at the age of eleven between attending Hogwarts or the local magic school with her brothers, she chose Hogwarts.

Roma slid down the hill behind the school and silently ran to her favorite spot behind the school, while clutching onto her bag. She wanted to take full advantage of the perfect evening sky over the lake. In one motion, Roma tossed her bag on the floor and pushed a large rock away from the base of the tree, revealing her stash of paints. As she properly rearranged them, she pulled out her portfolio from her bag and searched for a clean page. She flipped through this week’s sketches, her favorite was of a random seventh year sitting on the lawn with his owl. Finally Roma smiled, brush in hand, took a deep breath and lifted her eyes to the beautiful sky.
