Jessica Ann Wintrop was born on October 5 to two muggle parents. So, as you might suspect, it was quite a surprise when Jessica received her letter from Hogwarts to learn magic. At first, her parents were a bit skeptical shipping their only daughter to the North for a good part of the year to learn something that they did not understand. But, the teacher that came to talk to them convinced them in the end that it was the right thing for Jessica to do.
At Hogwarts, Jessica was sorted into the Hufflepuff house. Her hard-work and honorable qualities made her fit right in. Though Jessica wasn't a brilliant student at Hogwarts, she passed with good marks. It was her hardwork and dedication on keeping at a task until it's done that earned her her grades. During her fourth year at Hogwarts, Jessica became very interested in writing.
It wasn't until her sixth year did she find her knack in journalism. As soon as she finished her last year at Hogwarts, she took a job with the Daily Prophet, doing small things like the classified and the obituaries. However, a couple years later, she finally got her big break and was able to write her first article. by the time she was twenty-five, she wrote her first cover story.
Jessica kept at it and worked hard until she had finally reach the Editor-In-Chief job. Her goals is to make the newspaper the most popular news source in England.
