Character Name: Zane Larkin
Age: 36
Description: Dark and thick hair, tall, strong build, a bit of a pale skin complexion
Profession: Undercover Auror/Death Eater
Strengths: Strong both physically and with magic; Good with manipulating people; Tries to be helpful; Good leader; Can come up with plans and decisions efficiently
Weaknesses: Too vindictive; Has problems controlling his own power and rage; Can be selfish often; Always turns to violence as the answer for everything
Tell a little about your character:
Zane is the younger brother of one of Tom Riddle's childhood torture victims. His brother was permanently injured by all of his dangerous encounters with Tom in his early years. His injuries permanently put him in a vegatative state. The owners of the muggle orphanage that Zane's brother and Tom lived at immediately suspected that it was Tom's doing since he was always acting so strangely and cruelly around the other orphans.
Meanwhile, Zane, was a muggleborn wizard living in America with two magical parents. Zane had been fairly close to his brother before both of their parents had died and the two siblings were separated. He was enraged by what had been done to his brother and he urged his parents to move to Britain to be closer to him. So the family moved to England and Zane's parents adopted his brother and took care of him. Zane began to look into his brother's case to try to figure out who had done such a horrible thing to him. After he learned that it was a boy by the name of Tom Riddle and that his brother wasn't the first of Tom's victims, he immediately started to plan out ways to get revenge and show Tom the pain he had put Zane and his family through.
However, Zane was very young at the time and knew he couldn't do anything about the matter. But he kept his plans in the back of his head as he went to Hogwarts and then graduated after seven years. After beginning his free life as an adult, Zane became an Auror for a short time and took a special interest in getting to know Dumbledore better after learning that the old man had known Tom Riddle pretty well during Tom's school years. He didn't find out a whole lot of information, but enough to know that Dumbledore too had thought of Tom as a very troubled kid. But now Tom Riddle had changed his indentity to "Lord Voldemort" and was running around the country taking the lives of innocent people and forming an evil group of followers too. Zane began to realize that he wasn't going to be able to get the revenge he wanted on his own. He came to Dumbledore with a plan. He proposed that he go and infiltrate Voldemort's followers and act as a Death Eater for a long lapse of time to eventually gain their trust and explain that they would have better conditions should they decide to turn on the Dark Lord and help Zane conquer him and take over his position. Dumbledore allowed him to follow through with the plan on the condition that it remain a secret kept only by the two of them. Everyone else would have to believe that Zane really had turned to the opposite side to prevent anything from leaking into the wrong hands.
