Roland was bent forward, holding one hand against the new gash in his side. When Blake went down, hee heaved a sigh of relief, then looked over at Riley. Their eyes met very briefly, then his legs gave out on him and he went down to the ground.
He was so dizzy that he didn't even register that Ted was there, or what he was saying to him at first. But then he glanced up at him, meeting Ted's eyes. "I can't go to St. Mungo's," he mumbled. "Supposed to be dead, remember?"
He fumbled for his wand, then pointed it at the gash on his side. "Episkey," he said. He repeated the spell a couple of times, until he was sure that the bleeding had mostly stopped. "I brought.... healing potions. Over there by the garage, in a duffel bag. Can you get them?"

Ted shook his head and cursed under his breath. "You are unbelievable," he said, his tone stern. Episkey was a mild spell and wasn't going to fix what was wrong with Roland. "But you're not dead, are you? Unless you plan to pretend to be forever. Now's as good a time as any to come back."
He glanced in the direction that Roland said the potions were, and he was mildly torn.
"We're going to take Riley. Don't you want to make sure she's okay?"

"It's not exactly the way I wanted to come back," he mumbled.
He had to admit, he'd envisioned returning as a hero, bravely making some kind of grand entrance. Maybe it wasn't meant to be that way. Ted was right about one thing... Riley needed to get to the hospital.
Roland nodded weakly. "Riley has to go to St. Mungo's," he murmured. "She's pregnant... they need to make sure the baby's OK."
He was so dizzy, he could hardly see. There wasn't much fight left in him, and if Ted insisted on taking him to the hospital, there wasn't much he could do to stop him.

"Screw you and the way you wanted to come back," Ted replied rather shortly, not giving a damn. Roland had been alive this whole time, and from what he could gather, Riley had known all along. Screw what either of them wanted. They both lost the right the second they went in on this together.
When Roland told him Riley was pregnant, Ted's eyebrows went up. "You're just full of surprises tonight, aren't you?" He looked over to Hayden, calling to him to tell him he was going to St. Mungos. He added that she was pregnant, his eyebrows going up. He assumed Hayden would follow with Riley.
From there, he apparated with Roland.

Without really asking her, Hayden bent down and carefully helped Riley to stand up. Just as he was about to ask her how she was, Hayden's eyes widened as he heard Ted. Pregnant he mouthed a little confused. He knew better than to just ask questions right now. Riley promised that everything would be explained.
Nodding, Hayden put his arm around Riley. "He's going to be fine, promise. Here we go," he said before following Ted with a POP.

Riley wasn't sure she was steady on her feet, and before she even answered Hayden, she looked for Roland. He and Ted we gone.
"I'm okay," she said, knowing he'd want to ask. Her voice was shaking and she was obviously lying. "We have to go. I have to make sure Roland is okay. He promised me he'd be okay." Her wide eyes turned on Hayden, panic in them still, even though Blake was dead. Her thoughts weren't even on her own health, but Roland's.
