Bridget suddenly realized the two were not together, although they were clearly familiar with each other. Instead of falling into some vampire trap as she was beginning to think, she had stumbled upon a happening. It was only by chance that she and Morgan had fallen prey to these creatures. Somehow that eased Bridget's mind, knowing that the vampires had not yet rallied together. At least not tonight.
She shifted as the male hopped around the graveyard, a playful look on his face. The girl, the inexperienced one, was still standing close enough Bridget could reach her if she wanted to. But she knew better than to reach out for a wild creature. She fired another spell at the girl, hoping this body binding spell would not miss. With her out of the way Bridget would be free to handle the man. His speed made things tricky of course, but she was certain she could handle it. She only wished Morgan was not there. She had already failed at keeping two people safe from a single vampire. And she needed to know what Morgan knew. She couldn't lose her to the night again.
"Afraid to face me?" she taunted the male who was some distance from her. "Scared of a woman, are we?" He needed to be closer to her, where her spells had a better chance of hitting him. He was too quick and too far away for her to do much.

Brain laughed " You think I'm a modern sexist fool? I've been alive long enough to know women are always worse than men! If you want me that badly, you'll have to try just as much as anyone else!" He danced a bit closer and then leaped over the slayer. "Now, I know you wonder how, let me tell you, it's years of experience!" he laughed as he hopped on top on the next headstone.

Morgana was getting annoyed. She was stuck in the position of trying to defend her slayer against two other vampires, while not letting the slayer know that she was one as well. Worse still, one of the vampires, Brian, was one she had met before. If he gave her away, any hope she had of playing her little game with the slayer would be ruined. Couldn't they see that Bridget was her slayer?
This was one of the rare times when Morgana wished she was good at magic. A well-placed spell could knock the slayer out for a while, so she could tell the other vampires to back off. She could tell that the slayer wasn't going to give up on killing these two vampires without a fight. The child would probably be easy enough to kill. But Brian would be harder. What was she to do?
Desperate, she shot Brian a look while she put on her best innocent act. "Oh, no... What's going on?" she gasped. "These two aren't... vampires... are they?"

Brain landed neatly again and turned to the other vampires' voice. Oh she was playing human! "Oh how avant gard! Well, If you are going to play, I won't bother you." He laughed and turned to head to another safe place for the rest of the night. "Oh and You don't have to be delicate with the blood flower, I don't like her much anyway!" and with that he began to leave to find Amanda, He might not like the dirty bloom, but Amanda might like her still.

He was so quick and agile that the male was able to escape, but her spell had struck the child, who was now bound on the cemetery floor. Bridget sighed, but took the night as a positive; she had captured one. She tried not to think about how many people the other would harm tonight. There was no chance of catching him now without backup. And Bridget wasn't really supposed to be fighting vampires just yet. She was still just on patrol duty after her attack.
After checking that the child was immobilized, Bridget looked back to Morgan. "What are you doing here?" she questioned. The woman seemed completely oblivious to the situation, and hadn't even drawn her wand to defend herself. That was the first thing they taught in dueling class, be prepared. "It's dangerous. Don't you have your wand?"

Morgana cursed inwardly. Now that the situation was, at least temporarily diffused, she had to deal with the fact that she was alone with Bridget. She hadn't wanted Bridget to know she was following her. In fact, it would have been better if Bridget was left believing that their meeting was just a dream or something.
"My... wand?" she repeated blankly. Morgana was terrible at magic, never having finished her education. As such, she never really carried a wand. It was a piece of wood, after all. "Um, I lost it," she said in what she hoped was a sheepish voice. "I was at the club, and I think it fell out of my pocket. I was actually trying to retrace my steps to find it."

The girl seemed shaken. She wasn't able to answer simple questions. Bridget understood that it must be frightening to wander into a gathering of vampire unprotected. She felt for Morgan. "Well, you shouldn't have come out here alone. Weren't you with anyone at the club?"

Morgana could see she was buying the innocent act, so she continued. "No... I was alone. I danced with a couple of guys, but one of them tried to get fresh with me. Maybe... maybe he stole my wand!" She clapped her hand on her face as if in shock. "Listen... maybe we should get out of here and go somewhere safer, someplace where we can talk." She glanced around, acting frightened. She really didn't want Brian to come back. She would have to seek him out later and tell him to stay away from the slayer.

Delila lay helplessly on the ground. Although she couldn't move, inside, her mind was working furiously. When the human used that awful spell on Amanda, how had she gotten free? It had taken time, right? But what if she didn't have the time? She was helpless right now. It would be too easy for the human to just come and kill her while she was trapped. It wasn't fair! She was just learning how to live this unlife, she didn't want to lose it yet...
But it was odd. Why was the human talking to the other vampire? She knew the second woman was a vampire, she could smell it. So why was the vampire acting human? It didn't make sense. She could just kill the stupid human with a single bite, so why didn't she?
While the two women were talking, Delila felt the spell begin to ease. It was happening much quicker than it had with Amanda. Probably, the human had been too distracted to put her full force behind it. Soon she was able to move her hand, and then her arm. When she was able to move her feet, she slowly pulled herself onto her hands and knees and crawled away.

Bridget nodded to Morgan. "I have to handle this first," she said, turning to where she had left Delila. Only she wasn't there. The child vampire had escaped. "No! She's gone!" She cursed loudly. Bridget had been so caught up in her own stupid things that she was failing to do her job. She scolded herself silently. "I have to find her," she said to Morgan. But then, Morgan needed to get out of the cemetery, since she was defenseless. Bridget couldn't, in good conscious, leave the poor girl alone. Not with vampires and Death Eaters on the loose. She swore again.

Morgana let out a gasp. "Oh, no... she got away? That terrible little vampire child escaped... I'm so sorry! It's all my fault. I've distracted you from your job. Can you forgive me?"
She was acting so meek and helpless it was making her feel a bit sick. But now that she was here, talking with Bridget, she had to play as innocent as possible. Now, if only she could figure out a way to get out of this situation without Bridget finding out more about her than she already knew.
"You should go after her. Just leave me here, I'll be fine."

They had run into two vampires already and there were bound to be more. Plus, whomever took Morgan's wand back at the club could have followed her here. There were plenty of creeps out there in the world of the breathing. So many threats, it was hard to argue with herself that she ought to chase the vampires down over helping Morgan home, as the girl was unarmed and obviously ignorant to the real world. She didn't look as though she could be more than a year or so out of school. If that.
Bridget looked back in the direction she assumed the child had run off in. Then back to Morgan. "No, my first duty is to keep citizens of the wizarding world safe. And that means you. I'll be able to hunt her down again. She didn't seem too experienced, she'll make a few mistakes before learning to fool humans. They all do."

Morgana thought for a minute. Now that she was stuck playing "Morgan," the most important thing would be to get away from Bridget as soon as possible. The more time she spent with the slayer, the more she was at risk of being discovered as a vampire. But if she could find out where the woman lived, then the night wouldn't be wasted. But how to do that without arousing suspicion? And of course, she couldn't let the slayer take her home. She lived in an abandoned warehouse! That would certainly be a red flag...
"Well... I live kinda far away. You could just take me to the Three Broomsticks, and I'll get a room for the night," she suggested. "I don't want to keep you from your work."

This was a fair solution that eased Bridget's concerns. The Three Broomsticks was only a short distance away, which would give her time to get back and track the vampire girl. Bridget nodded. "Alright, that should work." She gave one last scan of the cemetery and headed toward the gated threshold of the graveyard.
Bridget really needed to work tonight, and prove she was not useless. But she also had to know more about Morgan. "Perhaps, if you're still in town tomorrow morning, I'll come meet you and we could have a chat. I still can't get over how much like me you look. And I don't have to work while the sun is up, so that won't be an issue." She laughed carelessly, but her eyes were memorizing every inch of the girl's face. How was this even possible?

Morgana was relieved to be able to get out of this situation so easily. She was almost glad for the little vampire child now, the slayer would certainly want to be getting back to find the girl. But just as she thought she was in the clear, Bridget mentioned meeting her somewhere in the morning. Morning... obviously that wouldn't be possible. Unless they met in the dim light of the Hog's Head, there wasn't really a place that would be totally safe from the sun's light. And even then, she'd still have to get there somehow. Besides, she didn't really want Bridget to find out too much about her. She'd already learned more than Morgana would have liked.
Obviously, she'd have to get out of it. But how? Should she agree to meet her and just never show up? Or should she say she had other plans?
She made a quick decision. "Actually, I can't meet tomorrow. I'm leaving town. Now that I've lost my wand, I'm going to have to take a last-minute trip to Ollivanders to get a new one, then I'm off to Paris for a while. I'm meeting some friends there."

Bridget was a little put out by Morgan's silence after Bridget asked to meet. They walked for what seemed like forever in an awkward silence, Bridget continuing to examine her twin's features as they walked into town. Finally Morgan answered, but not with the response Bridget would have liked. "Oh," she said without hiding her disappointment. "Well, another time then."

(I'm sorry I let this go for so long...)
Morgana could hear the disappointment in her lookalike's voice and, strangely, she almost felt bad about it. Which was, of course, ridiculous. The woman may have been her exact duplicate, but she was a slayer. And Morgana was a vampire. Those two things did not, and could not mix. She had to remind her that this slayer was not her. She was not disappointing herself. And the less she told the slayer about herself, the better it would be for her.
"I can contact you when I get back," Morgana replied. We could talk then, I suppose. I'll send you a raven... I mean, an owl."

"Alright then." The Three Broomsticks was in sight now and Bridget began to think over the best way to track down the vampire girl. Knowing Morgan would be safe on her own soon, she slipped back into slayer-mode. She needed to make sure the child did not kill anyone while Bridget was escorting Morgan back into the village. She would be beyond mortified if anyone dies because she was distracted by her so-called twin.
