Character Name: Kim Catoras
Year: 3rd
Preferred House: Gryffindor, or Ravenclaw, perhaps?
Strengths: Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, & Transfiguration.
Weaknesses: She's not willing to say
Tell a little about your character: She's thought of as shy sometimes, but mostly is straightforward. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, and is sometimes thought of as ignorant. Very smart, and very sweet. Adults like to talk to her, unlike most of the teenagers.
She's quiet, but pushes herself to get out in the crowd and have fun.
Practically all of her relatives are back in America, except for her father's small side of the family, which reside in london.
Her mother is a muggle, and her father is a wizard.
She is an only child, and sometimes looks up to the older male students as if they were her older brothers.
She is easily jealous of the older, prettier female students, though she does sometimes have the need of a mentor.
Description: Grey eyes, long light wavy brown hair, though she usually likes to straighten it.

Kim put her chin on her knee and continued to look out the window.
She stared at the giant oak tree by the veranda, and sighed, thinking about the past week.
Her letter, her mother's worry, her grandparent's shock, her father's happiness.
Kim wished she had someone to talk to.
Her father of course was no help, he was just happy she was going to attend Hogwarts.
Her mother was no help either, for she couldn't stop tearing up at the sight of young daughter.
There was no one else, unless she called up her cousins in london, and she didn't know them well enough.
She was just going to have to hold her head up high and go through it without a second thought.
