Character Name: Adèle 'Aly' Graham
Year: 6th
Preferred House: Ravenclaw.
Strengths: Transfiguration, Herbology.
Weaknesses: Trusting people, and Potions
Tell a little about your character: Had been living in London England with her grandparents before enrolling at Hogwarts. She was born in America, but was moved to England with her three older brothers after their single mother's passing of cancer. By the time all of her brother's graduated from Hogwarts, she was only at the age of seven. One of Aly's three brothers died of a horrible case of rabies, after living in America for six years. She's a rebel inside, but hates it when attention is called to her. She'd rather stand in a corner and watch quietly when there was a social event at her grandparent's large home.
She can be a quick learner, and is smart. Although she may at times appear not have a care in the world, her own little world is cracked inside. Her other brother died when traveling with scientist buddies, he had died because of a bumblebee sting, but it was later proved by Aly's only living brother (a scientist), that it
was a type of cyanide, giving him a painful death. The third brother wasn't with the scientist team when it happened, so only one other person was a suspect in Aly and her brother's eye. No one went to the police, for all the scientist's thought it was a simple bee sting. Aly's whole family was built up of graduates of Hogwarts, and now it's her turn.
Has a sense of humor, but forgets to use it.
Neurotic. Strong. A bit of a rebel, but hardly ever shows it. Is very sweet, and more mature than she seems.
She day-dreams a lot, and sometimes wishes she could have her dreams come true, but also doubts it.
She can be slightly judging, but only in her mind. Is really sweet, but sometimes people can't see it.
Description: medium heigth, long-ish dark brown hair, with blue/grey eyes.

Aly found herself alone in the kitchen, sitting on one of the stools near the counter.
She didn't go to the local coffee shop with her grandmother, she didn't want to miss her special phone-call.
Her two brothers were to call her the second they got off the plane, and tell her all the things she missed.
She jumped in her seat as the phone gave it's usual, startling ring.
She fumbled to get it off of it's stand. Taking a deep breath she answered with a "hello?"
"Aly...." she heard the raspy, but soft voice of her eldest brother.
"James!" She cried happily.
"Aly," he cleard his throat, "something has happened."
"What is it?" She sat there, waiting for him speak.
"Derreck has... has passed away,"
"What?" A frown appeared on her face.
What does he mean....? she thought.
"He died yesturday."
