Tell a little about your character: Shanae always used to be the bubbly one in the family. She was pretty and had a beautiful singing voice. But that fateful day that her parents were murdered, all of that stopped. She stopped singing and going out of her way on everything. She was brave and strong, and didn't publicaly mourn.

Shanae sighed and tucked her knees up to her chest. Sadly, she looked out the window to the approaching Hogwarts. Ever sense her parents had died, she had gone from bubbly little Shanae to 'fine, just fine' Shanae.
At their funeral, she hadn't cried like her aunt had. Her aunt had been a bawling mess, crying enough for the both of them. Shanae felt it would have been a bit of an overkill for her to cry as well. She had skipped the mourning part, going straight to a 'fine, just fine' attitude whenever anyone asked her how she was coping. When her aunt sent her away to Hogwarts for an education, Shanae packed up her stuff and went. Anything to be away from that dreaded place.
